Welcome to Fun Kid’s Education – where learning meets fun!

I’m Linda, the founder of this site, and I’d love to share the story behind why I started this journey.

Back in 1994, my husband and I welcomed our first daughter into the world. She was born with Carpenter Syndrome, a very rare condition. Doctors told us her life expectancy was only three years, but with love and care, she lived almost six years. Though she never walked or spoke, she filled our lives with joy, and she taught us the true meaning of patience, strength, and unconditional love.

After her passing in July 2000, we were blessed with two more children—a son and a daughter. Both are “perfect” in their own unique ways, but they each faced their own learning challenges: one with Asperger’s and ADHD, and the other with Dyslexia. Very early on, we made the decision to homeschool them, and it was one of the best choices we ever made. Still, it wasn’t easy—back then, we didn’t have the amazing technology and resources that are available today.

That experience shaped me deeply. I wanted to create something that would make learning easier, more engaging, and less stressful for both kids and parents. That’s why I built Fun Kid’s Education: a place where children can learn through play, gain confidence, and discover the joy of learning at their own pace.

Along the way, I also became a certified Life Coach in multiple areas, including Self-Confidence, Emotional Intelligence, and Transformation Coaching. These skills helped me guide not only my own children, but also other parents and kids who needed encouragement and support.

Here is a video of Louise (you can see the video quality is very old ;-D). In this video she is around 3 years old, but by the time she was 6, she was not much different. She also had Epilepsy. She spent a lot of time in hospital too.
