Welcome to Fun Kid’s Education dot com. Let me tell you a bit more about myself and why I created this site.

Hi, I’m Linda and I’m the founder of Fun Kid’s Education. 

In 1994 my hubby and I got married and had our first child. She was disabled and had Carpenter Syndrome, which the doctor who diagnosed her said is very rare.

Her life expectancy was 3, but she lived until she was almost 6. When she died, she was still like a baby. She was still wearing nappy’s, drinking bottle, had to be fed and carried around because she did not walk. She crawled, which we taught her with the help of an occupational therapist.

Before she died, we decided that it’s time to have more kids. We contacted the doctor who diagnosed her and he prescribed pills for me to drink 6 months before getting pregnant and while I was pregnant, everything was heavily monitored. 

She died July 2000 and our son was born August 2000. So you can imagine how over protective I was over him. Almost 2 years later our other daughter was born.

These kids, although perfect, both had a learning problem. One has Asperger and ADHD and the other is Dyslexic. Given these, we decided to homeschool them early on. It went great and it was the best decision for them. But it was tough. 

We did not have all the amazing technology we have these days, and having that at our finger tips, we can now teach kids and help them to have an early advantage in life.

I also studied to be a life coach and am certified in many different areas like Self Confidence Coach, Life Coach, etc.

This is where my love for teaching and helping kids learn easier and better came from. 

And that is why I created these games and this site, to help kids learn while having FUN!
